Inspired by historical journals and tales of survival, 'Shelter' became a space to re-enact the past while carving out new narratives. The artwork invites visitors to enter a representation of the ‘past’ and to create an experience by sharing stories of perseverance and endurance. While the paintings reflect a form of historical experience through the remanent of trees that were aftermath of interventions and tribulations.
