Singapore

Street Art, Mural, Public Art, Community Engagement
Cattleland was painted to celebrate the rich history, culture and heritage in Little India. Painted along Buffalo Road, it captures larger than life size, colourful cattles with cultural motifs imprinted on them. The local community shared with the artist that in Singapore's early years where Cattles were traded for economic growth, directly opposite the painted wall used to be a field where cattles were roaming freely. Therefore the artist would like to capture that moment of history in a vibrant and youthful manner for viewers to appreciate.
*Cattleland was present for 1 year (2015 - 2016) before the joint agreement to have it removed for the tenants' business purposes.
